New Year and Change

As time moved into the new year, Miuradai High School, which had been somewhat quiet for a few days, became busy once more.

After the liveliest and busiest days of the New Year had passed, Miuradai High School's board of directors immediately fulfilled its pre-New Year promise regarding the rewards for winning the Winter Cup. With Miss Miura once again leading the group, everyone went on a full week-long overseas trip, with Wu Yufei's hometown—Shu Prefecture, China—as their destination.

Wu Yufei naturally learned of this arrangement before all his other teammates, and he was delighted to have the chance to return home for a visit, so of course he raised no objections.

The board still covered the round-trip travel, lodging, and meals, while the players themselves were responsible for everything else.

And since they had arrived on Wu Yufei's home turf, he naturally had to play the gracious host. During that short week, he took everyone to several famous scenic spots.
