Graduation

Having smoothly defeated the visiting Sendai Golden Bell, securing their seventh preseason win, the entire Tokyo Thunder team was naturally in high spirits.

At seven that evening, the main group returned to the club. After a brief postgame meeting, Coach Oyama dismissed everyone.

Everyone would have the next day off and would not need to report for training. The day after that, they would resume their normal training schedule.

Their next preseason game would not be until another five days later.

After the dismissal, Wu Yufei did not immediately go home. Instead, he stayed behind with Sugiyama Shota and several other willing teammates for extra practice, further improving their chemistry in preparation for the upcoming regular season.

They practiced until nine that night before Wu Yufei finally returned to Kanagawa, satisfied.

The following week passed in uneventful routine.

The only relatively major event was that Wu Yufei and the other third-years officially graduated that week.

Once the week was over, they would formally bid farewell to the campus where they had spent a full three years.

Three years had passed in the blink of an eye. Many people had yet to fully process it. It felt as though they had only just entered as freshmen, brimming with curiosity, yet now they were about to graduate.

But Wu Yufei remained exceptionally calm.

After all, he had already experienced something like this in his previous life.

Moreover, during these past three years, he had devoted virtually all his time to basketball. Aside from his teammates and Junko, he had only average relationships with the rest of his classmates, so there was not much reluctance to leave.
