Personality

Kamuro initially presents herself as confident, sharp-tongued, and difficult to intimidate. When Tatsuya confronts her over shoplifting, she tries to deny the accusation and threaten him with a defamation suit; once shown the recording, however, she becomes frightened and suspicious of his motives. 12

She has a petty, competitive streak and enjoys attempting to get even with Tatsuya. At Keyaki Mall, Kamuro exploits a surveillance blind spot to steal a can of beer. Tatsuya records the entire act, confronts her afterward, and uses the footage as leverage to make her carry his shopping bags. 12

Tatsuya takes her to his dormitory, cooks Shaxian-style food for her, and deletes the recording in front of her. During the meal, Kamuro reveals Class 1-A’s split between Katsuragi’s and Sakamayanagi’s factions. 13

Chess Club and Class 1-A Contact

Kamuro accompanies Sakamayanagi when she challenges Tatsuya at the Chess Club. She attempts to support Sakamayanagi verbally, but Tatsuya exploits her lack of chess skill to put her on the spot. 16 17

After Tatsuya and Sakamayanagi draw their match, Kamuro reluctantly joins them for lunch. She tries and fails to prank Tatsuya with a shaken Coke. 17 18 She is visibly taken aback when Sakamayanagi subsequently proposes that Tatsuya become her “exclusive toy” if he loses their next contest. 19

Visit to Tatsuya’s Dormitory

Kamuro visits Tatsuya to verify that he deleted the incriminating video. After obtaining confirmation, she gets revenge with knife-hand strikes, then admits that Sakamayanagi sent her to keep contact with him. 22 23

The visit shifts into a cooking lesson, during which she helps make tomato beef and shares the meal with Tatsuya. She leaves with him to dispose of the trash, only for Karuizawa to see them together. 23

Midterm Preparations

Tatsuya contacts Kamuro to arrange a meeting with Sakamayanagi about past midterm exam papers. Kamuro is surprised that he obtained them and witnesses Sakamayanagi purchase them for 100,000 Private Points. She later accompanies Sakamayanagi when the two encounter Tatsuya in the dormitory elevator. 36 62

While Kamuro studies at Palette Café, Tatsuya brings her an iced Americano and accepts her offer to tutor him. His question about the date of a formal surrender document instead catches her out. Sakamayanagi subsequently asks Kamuro to bring back dinner, and Tatsuya joins her on the way to eat. 52 53

Deserted Island Exam Message

Kamuro waits outside Tatsuya’s dormitory on Sakamayanagi’s behalf and questions him about how he prevented a Class 1-D student’s expulsion. He refuses to explain. Before leaving, she delivers Sakamayanagi’s message that she intends to give him a “gift” during the upcoming Deserted Island Exam. 75
