Tatsuya Sakuya took Karuizawa Kei's phone and casually tapped the video.
The figures in the video were clearly visible, but during the part where Mio Ibuki fought him, her face couldn't be seen at all.
Had she noticed from the start? Had she deliberately stayed out of the camera's angle?
Tatsuya Sakuya thought about it as he watched the video.
To Tatsuya Sakuya, the video didn't matter.
He hadn't planned to do anything with a recording in the first place. It was just insurance against anything unexpected.
If the school allowed fighting, dealing with Ibuki and the other three would have been no trouble for Tatsuya Sakuya.
"You went looking for them because you wanted to settle Ken Sudō's case privately, didn't you?"
Karuizawa Kei took her phone back, then rubbed her chin as she looked Tatsuya Sakuya up and down.
"Something like that?"
Tatsuya Sakuya wasn't planning to tell Karuizawa Kei about his intention to extort them yet.
Naturally, the fewer people who knew about something like that, the better.
Tatsuya Sakuya had no intention of continuing that conversation, so he casually changed the subject.
"Have you eaten?"
"Not yet. I followed you over here right after class, remember?"
Sure enough, asking whether someone had eaten worked every time.
"Come on. I'll treat you to a feast."
Tatsuya Sakuya planned to blow all the few thousand points he had left on his phone.
The next day, during English class.
There were less than two days left until Friday's hearing.
Tatsuya Sakuya had no interest in listening to the lesson. His mind was elsewhere.
Why hadn't Ryuuen Kakeru given him a definite answer yet?
There hadn't been a single message all night.
Even if he didn't have my contact details, couldn't he reach me through Kushida Kikyou?
