When Garp heard Mu Chen say that, his heart skipped a beat. Had this brat discovered something?

Garp still wasn't sure whether Mu Chen had discovered anything, but Mu Chen actually wanted to go back to the East Blue with him. If that person was discovered, things could get seriously out of hand.

Garp immediately refused. "What would you go to the East Blue for?"

"Get lost! I don't have time to entertain you!"

Mu Chen wasn't surprised by Garp's refusal at all. "You don't have to entertain me. Just go about your business and pretend I'm invisible. I guarantee I won't see anything, know anything, or say anything."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mu Chen picked up a bag of rice crackers, sat in Garp's Vice Admiral's chair, and propped his feet on the desk in front of him.

Garp's eyelids twitched at the sight. "Mu Chen, stop eating! Get your hands off my rice crackers!"

In the end, Garp couldn't withstand Mu Chen's relentless pestering and took him along to the East Blue.

By now, however, Garp found Mu Chen increasingly difficult to figure out.

Mu Chen's words carried hidden meanings, as if he knew everything. That line about not knowing or seeing anything was especially telling.

Garp might have been scatterbrained, but he had always been extremely cautious about anything concerning that person. He could only hope nothing would go wrong.

Yet while Mu Chen thought they were heading to the East Blue, their actual course took them toward the South Blue.

Nearly half a month passed in a flash. Their destination was Baterilla Island in the South Blue.

Mu Chen suddenly remembered something. Garp didn't linger around Baterilla Island, either. Before Mu Chen knew it, Garp had led him to a hill behind the settlement.
