Luffy clenched his fist and activated the Rubber-Rubber Fruit. His arm shot straight out like a spring, then snapped back as his fist slammed fiercely into the Pacifista's chest. All he heard, however, was a crisp clang.
The Pacifista did not budge. Instead, it raised a hand and seized Luffy's wrist, its red flashing eyes turning toward him. "Ah, so hard!"
"This guy isn't human!"
Luffy struggled with all his strength, his wrist aching from the crushing grip. Only then did he realize that the Mu Chen before him did not seem to be human at all.
"There's more than one!"
Nami suddenly pointed toward the harbor entrance. Two more Pacifistas were heading their way, their footsteps clicking across the stone pavement. Passing pirates were casually pierced through by their Paper Pistols, sending them running around in terror.
At that moment, Trafalgar Law jumped down from a ship in the reef area. Two slender swords hung at his waist, and he landed lightly on shore. Glancing at the trapped Luffy, he called out, "Captain Cao Mao, if you don't leave now, you really won't be able to!"
Before his words had faded, he was already moving. With two swords in hand, he spun out two fierce arcs of steel and attacked the Pacifista gripping Luffy's wrist.
Since Mu Chen had eaten the Op-Op Fruit, Trafalgar Law was now simply a master swordsman.
The Pacifista sensed the threat and was just about to release him when Luffy turned to respond. Law's blades had already arrived, striking twice with a clang as they precisely chopped into the Pacifista's arm joints.
"Thanks!"
Law turned back, his blade sweeping around to block the Pacifista's palm strike. He said evenly, "I just don't want the commotion beside me to drag me in. Stop standing around.
