He had always believed this was the price he had paid to transcend the ordinary. "Brilliantly bald" was no baseless saying.
"Make the preparations. This dean is making a trip to the Underground Grand Prison." Dean Xiang's lips curled faintly. "I'll meet our somewhat restless little friend."

The people nearby took the initiative to make way for the dean.
Since Culture Capital was established, the Underground Grand Prison had received vast numbers of prisoners every year, far beyond the small private prisons run by the Research Institutes below.
It was the second-largest prison, surpassed only by Sea Capital Deep-Sea Prison.
Making his way down, he did not linger on the upper levels and went straight to the bottommost floor.
The farther down he went, the more vicious and heinous the inmates became. Those held on the lowest level were either condemned prisoners or serving life sentences, doomed to remain forever in this cramped space devoid of daylight.
After passing one tiny cell after another, Dean Xiang arrived at the innermost one and looked inside.
Several books meant to help him pass the time lay scattered across the floor. A chair had toppled over, while an untouched meal sat on the table.
His gaze fell on the boy lying on the bedboard, and he lightly tapped the specially made glass.
The boy's ear twitched. He turned over but did not respond.
"Looks like his mood is relatively stable." Dean Xiang walked to the door, his tone calm. "Open it. This dean will speak with him personally."
"Dean... but he..." The subordinate beside him wanted to dissuade him, but one look from him
