Lin Ye was killed in his previous life after being struck by a hundred-ton truck and was reborn on the Douluo Continent as an orphan. For six years, he deliberately kept a low profile before revealing his exceptional physique and God-rank Martial Soul. 1

After acquiring his first Spirit Ring, Lin Ye encountered the fleeing Zhu Zhuqing in the Star Dou Great Forest. He recognized her identity and the danger posed by Zhu Zhuyun's assassins, but protected her rather than exploiting her vulnerability.
