Early the next morning, just as a faint wash of dawn appeared on the horizon, the morning breeze drifted by, carrying the first hint of coolness.
Ah Yin also woke early at that moment, her blue-gold almond eyes slowly opening.
Scenes of last night's madness kept replaying in her mind, and two rosy clouds involuntarily bloomed across her cheeks.
She shyly covered her face and giggled foolishly, her lovely features brighter than ten thousand flowers in bloom.
Just then, a pair of broad hands suddenly wrapped around her slender waist.
"Ah Yin, you're awake so early?"
Dugu Chen smiled brightly and reached out to touch her forehead. He had already woken the moment she stirred.
"You don't have a fever either. Why is your face so red?"
Ah Yin cast him a coquettish glare and burrowed her head deeper into his embrace.
Her fair, fragrant shoulders slipped back beneath the covers, and her warm, smooth body pressed tightly against his.
Dugu Chen chuckled, but did not expose Ah Yin's embarrassment.
His large hand gently wandered over Ah Yin's body, soon making the beauty in his arms blush with shame.
"You're awful!"
Ah Yin let out a soft, delicate moan and gave him a somewhat resentful look.
She caught the hand that had been wandering all over her, then slowly pulled herself out from beneath the covers.
Within the hazy crimson bed curtains, Ah Yin shyly searched around on the bed. Dugu Chen coughed twice, then passed it to her with a broad smile.
Ah Yin's cheeks reddened as she accepted it, then quickly shrank back under the covers, where rustling sounds began.
Watching the bashful Ah Yin, Dugu Chen smiled faintly. It seemed he still had to work harder!
Several minutes later, Ah Yin finally emerged from beneath the covers.
