Xu Sanshi Gets Schooled!

As more and more people gathered, Huo Yuhao began to feel a little overwhelmed. Fortunately, the enhancement of his Spirit Eyes Martial Soul kept him from accidentally burning the fish.

More and more people came to buy them, and the greenfish gradually dwindled away. After the final five grilled fish were sold, Huo Yuhao signaled Wang Dong to tell those farther back that they no longer needed to wait in line.

Hearing that there were no more grilled fish, those who had wanted to try them for the first time looked disappointed, but they obediently left. At that moment, a girl with long black hair, a pair of rabbit ears atop her head, jade-like long legs, and a shapely figure slowly approached.

"Hello, boss! Do you still have any grilled fish for sale?" The girl came warmly to the stall, and her gentle voice made the busy Huo Yuhao look up.

The newcomer was Jiang Nannan, one of the two campus belles of the outer courtyard alongside Tang Ya. She was also a Soul Elder-level powerhouse herself!

"This..." Just as Huo Yuhao was hesitating, he saw the male student casually wave his hand. With no other choice, he nodded in agreement. Being lovestruck really was deadly. Still, he made the price clear.

"All right! But Senior Sister, my grilled fish cost eight copper soul coins each!" Huo Yuhao glanced at the senior student before him and thoughtfully reminded her. Her clothes looked like commoner's clothing, much like his own, so it was better to give her a heads-up.

"Eight? Is grilled fish really worth that price?" Jiang Nannan curiously examined the grilled fish in his hands.

"Of course! Senior Sister, just look at the senior students and classmates around us. You'll see that my grilled fish are absolutely worth the price!"

After hearing Huo Yuhao say that, she swept her gaze around and found that it was indeed true. Everyone was eating with great relish; some had even eaten the fish bones. It seemed the price really was justified!

Seeing the arrogant youth, Huo Yuhao frowned deeply. He really thought he was somebody. Beside him, Jiang Nannan angrily shouted, "Xu Sanshi, stop pestering me! I can handle my own affairs myself!"

That was right—the newcomer was Xu Sanshi, one of the academy's Twin Stars alongside Bei Bei. His soul power level was the same as Bei Bei's, both being Soul Elders, and his martial soul was the Dark Nether Turtle, reputed to possess the greatest defense!

"Nannan, if he dares refuse to sell you grilled fish, then he's disrespecting me, Xu Sanshi." As he spoke, he confidently pointed at himself.

Looking at Xu Sanshi before her, Jiang Nannan felt nothing but resistance. She unconsciously recalled what had happened years ago, then turned to Huo Yuhao with an apologetic expression.

Xu Sanshi smugly walked up to Huo Yuhao. Just as he was about to speak, a fierce gust of wind came crashing toward him. Xu Sanshi immediately mobilized his soul power to block it!

"Who was that?!" The anger in his heart instantly erupted. Damn it, someone had made him lose face in front of Nannan. When he looked closely, he realized it was an acquaintance.

"Xu Sanshi, you're really getting more and more arrogant! You even dare lay a hand on my little junior brother!" Bei Bei stared calmly at him, but his tightly furrowed brows revealed the anger he was holding back.

"Bei Bei? That guy is your little junior brother? Looks like your Tang Sect has recruited someone after all! But if he dares refuse to sell Nannan grilled fish, that won't do!" Xu Sanshi showed no fear, his gaze fixed directly on Bei Bei.

"Looks like we'll have to take a trip to the Soul Duel Platform." Bei Bei spoke softly, while Xu Sanshi appeared completely unconcerned. Ever since they had met, every fight between him and Bei Bei had ended in a draw.

"Big Brother Bei, let me handle this! I want to see what gives this guy such confidence." At that moment, Huo Yuhao's voice rang out, stunning the two who were still confronting each other.

"Yuhao, are you sure? Sanshi's strength is evenly matched with mine." Bei Bei was somewhat surprised, but Huo Yuhao signaled for him not to worry too much. He had a secret technique up his sleeve.

"Hmph! That's me! Kid, as long as you sell Nannan a grilled fish, this golden soul coin is yours!" As he spoke, Xu Sanshi extended his right hand, the gleaming golden soul coin from earlier resting in his palm.

"Sorry, but I want to win it back fair and square. Big Brother Bei said we should head to the Soul Duel Platform. I want to find out whether the Dark Nether Turtle's defense is really that impressive!"

Huo Yuhao spoke softly, his tone full of disdain. Yet his words stunned Xu Sanshi. A first-year student actually dared invite him to the Soul Duel Platform? Did this brat have no idea what the outer courtyard's Twin Stars represented?

"I think we should forget it. If I break that tiny body of yours, Bei Bei and Tang Ya will fight me to the death!" Xu Sanshi waved his hand as if Huo Yuhao were no more than a little mouse.

"Don't dare? Or are you afraid of losing face in front of the person you like?" Huo Yuhao taunted him, immediately making Xu Sanshi furious. His face reddened as he snapped, "Don't dare? Fine! Looks like you little brat need a proper lesson!"

With that, he headed toward the Soul Duel Platform. Watching Xu Sanshi's retreating back, Huo Yuhao chuckled softly and was about to follow when Bei Bei and the others came over.

"I'm sorry, Junior Brother Yuhao. This happened because of me. Xu Sanshi has been trying to pursue me ever since he came to Shrek, and you got dragged into it because of me!" Jiang Nannan stepped forward first, her face full of apology.

Huo Yuhao hurriedly waved his hands to show that it was fine. After all, this had nothing to do with Jiang Nannan; she was also someone being troubled by it!

"Yuhao, Xu Sanshi's martial soul is the Dark Nether Turtle, and it has terrifying defensive power. You may not be able to deal with him without any offensive abilities! Besides, you only have one soul ring!" Bei Bei said worriedly.

Wang Dong also looked at Huo Yuhao with concern. Although he knew something of Huo Yuhao's strength, he was still not fully reassured.

Huo Yuhao, however, looked completely unconcerned. He confidently pointed at his eyes and said softly, "Don't worry, I have a trump card. One turtle isn't going to reach the heavens!"
