The fragrance outside Linglong Pavilion grew ever richer, drawing men, women, young, and old alike to stop curiously at the entrance, eager to glimpse what was inside.
Yet the doors remained firmly shut.
When the doors finally opened after much waiting, the thick aroma made everyone's mouths water. Before they could even take a step inside, the departing guests blocked the entrance!
The shopkeeper then slowly emerged, cupped his hands, and looked around.
"Everyone."
"Our establishment is temporarily closed and will not be receiving any guests. We ask for your understanding!"
After delivering those hasty words, the shopkeeper returned inside.
The doors shut once more, leaving the surrounding onlookers dumbfounded!
"Holy shit?"
"Linglong Pavilion actually isn't doing business anymore? What kind of madness is this?"
"What kind of family just closes up whenever they feel like it?"
"Exactly! Making money is getting harder and harder these days. Even the production team's donkeys don't dare take a break, yet they say they're closing? They have to be lying!"
"They must be lying! Who knows what wine and dishes are inside Linglong Pavilion, but the smell is so good I'm about to swallow my own tongue. How could they possibly close?"
"If you ask me, this has to be one of their tricks. They must be planning to sell something new later, putting on a mysterious act again!"
"That's right! We'll wait right here and see what kind of trick they're playing!"
The more the group talked, the more worked up they became, all determined to get to the bottom of it.
After smelling those waves of rich fragrance, even those who harbored doubts could not resist their appetites and joined the crowd waiting at the entrance.
The crowd's discussions continued without end, their faces filled with resolve!
"I have to wait
