The ground of Origin Ball Space shook violently.
A pitch-black rift tore open beneath their feet. Blinding red light marked with nine tomoe shot up from deep underground, accompanied by a terrifying surge of savage chakra.
A battered, mountain-sized wooden Golem crawled out of the earth. Half of Madara Uchiha's body was embedded in its forehead!
The right half of his face had turned completely to wood, with twisted branches growing from it. But his remaining Rinnegan, in his left eye, still held the same boundless arrogance.
"Did that foolish woman Kaguya really think she could erase my will?" Madara's voice was hoarse, yet it echoed through the space like thunder. "I, Madara Uchiha, planned this for a hundred years. My mark was carved all through this Ten-Tails husk long ago! Without her ridiculous spatial restraints, I'm the god who truly commands the Divine Tree!"

The Golem opened its gaping maw. Tens of thousands of Wood Release vines burst out like frenzied pythons, sweeping toward the nine Tailed Beasts that had just landed, intent on swallowing them whole once more.
"Not this again!" the Nine-Tails roared, smashing a dozen thick vines with one sweep of his massive claw.
"You old fossil! Black Zetsu ripped your heart out, and you're still acting like some big bad wolf!"
Naruto's face darkened. He had no intention of giving the villain time for another speech. He crushed the rock beneath his foot, and Pure Yang Chakra surged skyward, forming nine dazzling golden chains that smashed through the oncoming sea of vines.
Sasuke moved even faster than Naruto.
