Faces Full of Shock

On the deck of Thriller Bark, Gecko Moria and his three subordinates—Absalom, Hogback, and Perona—raised their heads in unison and looked up at the sky, their faces filled with utter shock.

Thriller Bark, where they stood, was currently anchored in the very center of the Florian Triangle. Though this area was not blanketed in dense fog like the rest, it was still shrouded by mist that never dispersed year-round.

Yet at that moment, the thick fog was suddenly torn apart as if by an invisible giant hand, rapidly dissipating. The sky, which should have been dark and damp, was now replaced by a blazing sun. Sunlight mercilessly poured down upon Thriller Bark, illuminating the entire ship.

This sudden change caught Gecko Moria and the others off guard. The harsh sunlight was so blinding that they could barely open their eyes, forcing them to raise their hands to shield themselves as they tried to adjust to the brightness.

"Hey hee hee hee..." Gecko Moria suddenly let out a strange laugh, breaking the brief silence. Yet there was obvious confusion and puzzlement in his laughter.

He narrowed his eyes at the sky and muttered, "How strange. The Florian Triangle has been covered in rain and fog for hundreds of years. How could it suddenly disperse?" His voice was filled with deep confusion over this abnormal phenomenon.

Hogback nodded thoughtfully and said slowly, "The Florian Triangle is indeed very similar to the Calm Belt. Both are seas with exceptionally stable weather. By all reason, such an enormous change should not have occurred." His brows furrowed slightly, as though he were pondering something, and a trace of worry seeped into his tone.

Absalom, on the other hand, seemed utterly unconcerned. With a dismissive smile, he casually said, "Who cares? It barely affects us anyway.
