Background

Moke was originally a One Piece fan living with a chuunibyou roommate. After their conversation about the series, the roommate attempted to send him into the One Piece world as a joke; Moke genuinely disappeared and awakened on an unfamiliar island. A village chief took him in, but Moke struggled with his lack of strength and resolved to gain the power to protect himself. 464

He later became involved with Alvida’s crew while pursuing the Slip-Slip Fruit. Though initially treated as expendable, he helped the crew survive a storm and repel sea beasts, earning Alvida’s trust before continuing his own search for power. 955
