"Issho? You know him?" Baboon King Burns stared at the man before him in astonishment, unable to believe it. Issho was completely unknown in the world, a nobody who did not even count as a minor figure. How could someone like that have caught the captain's attention?
While Baboon King Burns was full of doubts, Moke suddenly burst into laughter as though he had won the lottery. His laughter was deafening, as if he had stumbled upon some tremendous stroke of fortune.
"Hahahaha! What a stroke of luck—just when I thought I'd searched everywhere, the answer fell right into my lap! I never imagined that taking in someone as formidable as Baboon King Burns would bring such an unexpected reward. This is a blessing straight from the heavens!" Moke danced with excitement, his grin nearly reaching his ears.
Baboon King Burns raised an eyebrow and asked curiously, "Captain, have you taken an interest in him? Could it be that he possesses extraordinary strength too?" He truly could not understand what was so special about the obscure Issho that had made his captain lose his composure.
Moke looked at Baboon King Burns in surprise, seemingly astonished by his question. "You're gambling buddies, aren't you? Don't you know how strong he is?"
Hearing that, Baboon King Burns looked slightly embarrassed. He rubbed his nose and explained awkwardly, "Uh... that guy is practically cursed by bad luck! Whenever I gamble with him, as long as I bet against him, I always win. It's easy, worry-free, and guaranteed profit. Wouldn't you like a gambling buddy like that?"
After hearing Burns's words, Moke froze. His mouth hung wide open, yet no sound came out. Burns's answer had completely left him speechless, and for a moment, he could not think of anything to say in rebuttal.
