Page One said with a fawning smile, swiftly handing Moke the backpack containing the Devil Fruit.
Moke happily took the backpack, the corners of his mouth rising involuntarily—after all, another immensely precious Devil Fruit had fallen into his hands. The feeling was simply incredible!
However, just as Moke was immersed in his joy, an earth-shaking boom suddenly rang out. "Rumble..."
Immediately afterward, the entire area around the auction house was engulfed by a powerful blast wave.
In an instant, flames shot into the sky and thick smoke billowed forth, as though the end of the world had arrived.
The sudden change immediately put Moke, Ulti, and Page One on alert. They all turned toward the source, their gazes fixed tightly in that direction.
"What's going on?"
Moke furrowed his brow, a hint of vigilance in his eyes. Page One said nervously, "Captain, could someone be here to steal the Devil Fruit?"
Ulti analyzed calmly, "Whoever it is, if they dare cause trouble here, we won't let them off easily."
Just then, a figure shot out of the smoke at high speed, lunging straight for the backpack in Moke's hand.
Moke reacted instantly, sidestepping and throwing a punch at the same time. The figure nimbly dodged it. It was a short but agile young man.
The youth's lips curled into a crafty smile. With eagle-sharp eyes locked on the people before him, he barked, "If you know what's good for you, hand over that Devil Fruit right now! Otherwise, don't blame me for showing no mercy!"
Faced with the youth's arrogant attitude, Moke snorted disdainfully. "Hmph! A brat still wet behind the ears like you dares to talk big? You don't know your own limits!"
Before his words had even faded,
