The giant led them to a corner and reached out to pull a thick ancient tome from the shelf.

The book was far larger than any other. As the giant's fingers turned its spine, it let out a creaking sound, as if bidding farewell to the dust of the world.

The giant spoke in his deep voice, patted the book's cover, and gently placed it on the long table.
