The agents broke through

Sabo took out another device Dragon had given him—a metal bracelet with a blue crystal set into its center, similar to the one in the navigator. He slipped it onto his right wrist and gently turned the crystal. The bracelet immediately resonated, seemingly forming an invisible connection with the Floating Island.

"Prepare to board the island," Sabo ordered. "The storm could change at any moment. We need to hurry."

The ship came to a stop directly beneath the Floating Island. Sabo stood in the center of the deck and raised his right arm, aiming the bracelet at the island. As he moved, a pale blue beam shot from the bracelet toward the island. At the point of connection, a previously invisible stairway suddenly appeared—made of some translucent material, it spiraled upward to the island's edge.

"An invisible bridge," Kewen said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Just how advanced was the Ancient Kingdom's technology...?"

Sabo led the five-person team up the stairs. As they approached the Floating Island, the energy fluctuations in the air became more pronounced, carrying a faint electrical charge that made their hair stand on end.

When they finally stepped onto the island's edge, the sight stunned them all—the entire island was a vast ancient city, its architecture unfamiliar yet elegant, with flowing lines and materials that gleamed like metal. Most striking was the enormous glass-domed building at its center, roughly half a nautical mile in diameter, with intricate machinery faintly visible inside.

"These buildings," Kewen said, studying them as he walked, "are so perfectly preserved. It's as if time stood still here."

Lily took out a measuring instrument. "I'm detecting a powerful energy field surrounding the entire island. It may have formed some sort of protective barrier, shielding it from environmental damage."
