First major vision: the golden age (probability: approximately 15%)
In this branch, the multiversal coexistence template functioned well. Civilizations exchanged ideas frequently, most conflicts were resolved peacefully, and technology, art, and philosophy flourished explosively. Civilizations with different inclinations found comfortable niches within the framework of the "core protocol" and nurtured one another.
The influence of the seven extreme rules was effectively channeled and harnessed: "cycle" was used to restore and stabilize ecosystems; "void" allowed minds to be cleared periodically; "subversion" drove high-risk, high-reward innovation zones; "unity" enabled joint command across civilizations during major crises; "randomness" was restricted to cultural activities that added variety and sources of inspiration for scientific research; "pain" was strictly limited to voluntary adversity training; and "stasis" became the protective principle for heritage preservation zones that required absolute stability.
The entire Thought Sea displayed unprecedented prosperity, vitality, and profound harmony.
This vision shone brilliantly, almost the very image of an ideal utopia.
Second major vision: the dark tide era (probability: approximately 35%)
Yet more of the future's branches were not so beautiful.
As the number of civilizations grew explosively and the network of connections became immensely complex, delays and loopholes began to appear in the "core protocol's" regulation. Some civilizations exploited ambiguities in the rules to engage in conduct that was "legal" but harmed collective interests. Regional interest groups formed, and covert maneuvering and friction continued unabated.
The "temptation" of the seven extreme rules remained ever-present. Some civilizations that encountered developmental bottlenecks or escalating internal tensions began secretly making contact with and attempting to introduce portions of the extreme rules' power, seeking rapid breakthroughs or ways to redirect their conflicts. Although the "balance protocol" issued warnings and intervened, certain civilizations developed "resistance" that allowed them to evade detection.
Society began to stratify into a "core civilization circle"
