Several little ones huddled to one side, whispering among themselves, failing to notice Kaido's expression growing increasingly gloomy.

He gripped the newspaper in his hand, his eyes fixed on the photograph printed on it.

The little ones immediately stood at attention and answered in unison.

With a wave of Kaido's hand, the group scattered at once, even taking away the newspaper he had thrown aside.

Though they could not read many words, they still managed to understand the general meaning.

The children whispered together, when a little girl with a pair of horns on her head quietly approached them.

Chains bound her wrists and ankles. She crept over to the others, standing on tiptoe to peer at the newspaper.
