After Eastern King Duke was destroyed, Tongtian happened upon a bargain: he acquired the heaven-and-earth marvel, the "Immortal-Hiding Diagram." Unfortunately, the diagram had been caught in the battle between Eastern King Duke, Dijun, Taiyi, and the others, and part of it had been damaged.

Although this incomplete Immortal-Hiding Diagram could still be used, its power had undoubtedly fallen to its lowest point. That was why Tongtian had been able to pick up such a bargain. Otherwise, no matter what, it would never have fallen into Tongtian's hands. At the very least, Dijun and Taiyi were no fools who could not recognize treasure. Even if they could not, having suffered under the Myriad Immortals Formation laid out through the Immortal-Hiding Diagram, could they possibly not know it was a treasure?

Why had Dijun and Taiyi not taken the Immortal-Hiding Diagram? Was it not because they had damaged it into a complete mess? Taking it back would have been useless. It would not even have counted as chicken ribs—nothing but something that took up space. Yet to Tongtian, a grandmaster of formations, this was no problem at all.

With Tongtian's attainments in formations, even if the Immortal-Hiding Diagram was incomplete, he had a way to restore it in full. Perhaps he could even make it more powerful. In fact, that was exactly what happened; otherwise, there would not have been the Myriad Immortals Formation during the later Investiture of the Gods War.

Now, the Immortal-Hiding Diagram was complete and rested in the hands of its "rightful" owner, Eastern King Duke. What kind of power would it unleash? Surely it would not disappoint Eastern King Duke. Nor could it possibly disappoint him.
