Su Yu had no idea how he had fallen asleep. When he woke up the next day, his phone had already died from running out of battery. He did not even know what time it was, only that the sunlight outside the window was a little blinding. He plugged in his phone, then heard sounds coming from the living room.

Puzzled, Su Yu glanced toward the door. Gu Lin, who had just finished preparing breakfast, looked up and said, "Go wash up."

Oh.

Gu Lin had the key to his home.

Only after getting ready did Su Yu slowly emerge from his room with his phone. He had wanted to grab a drink from the fridge, but Gu Lin closed the refrigerator door for him, pressed him back into his seat, and made him obediently drink warm milk.

"After breakfast, get ready and we'll go to the notary office, then the Civil Affairs Bureau."

Su Yu choked on his first sip of milk and coughed several times. The Alpha seated across from him was leisurely cutting up the breakfast platter.

"We're really going?"

"Mm."

"Let me think about it some more."

Su Yu shoved all the salad from his platter onto Gu Lin's, making it clear that he did not like eating grass.

"You seemed to agree before you fell asleep yesterday."

Su Yu had no memory of that whatsoever. He seemed to have fallen asleep listening to Gu Lin's voice, but he could not remember what they had said when he was about to drift off.

"I don't know. I don't think I said that." Su Yu refused to admit it. "Besides, who gets married like this? There wasn't even a process."

"Marry first, fall in love later. That's perfectly reasonable too."

The phrase sounded familiar to Su Yu.
