"No, no. I still have to go to Grandmother's house."

"Didn't you acknowledge me as your godfather? You're not even coming home?"

Su Yu immediately reneged on it. "I only said that to help you make her mad."

"You don't want your gift?"

Su Yu immediately looked up, picked up the phone he had casually set aside, and asked, "What gift?"

"Of course, gifts have to be given in person."

Su Yu gave an oh. "Then let's talk about it tomorrow. I'm busy sorting things out right now. I just went to the mall and bought a lot of stuff, and there are still some deliveries."

"Fine, we'll talk tomorrow."

Su Yu hung up and carried something upstairs. Gu Lin could hear him tearing tape and opening packages outside. He had no idea what Su Yu was sticking to the door, but before long, Su Yu carried another box of small ornaments into the study.

Su Yu turned to look at him. "Are you done with work?"

"What is it?"

"Come with me."
