It was past six in the evening when Su Yu saw the message. The sky was almost dark, and with the curtains mostly drawn, his room was dim. After getting out of the car, he had bought something to eat near his apartment complex, then fallen asleep and slept until now.
The phone screen was painfully bright. Su Yu sat up and rubbed his eyes. It took him a while to remember that he had divorced Gu Lin, returned to his apartment, and could control his body again.
"It feels like a dream."
Su Yu lay back down with his phone and slowly replied to Lu Heyun.
[Su Yu: I'm back. I was so tired that I took a nap.]
Lu Heyun replied quickly: Then you probably haven't had dinner. Want to come over? My aunt stopped by today and made some food.
