I still haven't made up the extra chapters I originally owed for monthly votes. I've let all of you readers down, so for these past two years, I've kept the promise I made that day and never asked for votes. At least I managed that much.

There were things I hadn't wanted to say, but today I saw that someone had once again cast a whole lot of negative votes against me. With my illness getting worse on top of that, I'm saying them earlier than planned.

I had intended to say all this after making up the chapters, but I'm having trouble holding on.

My condition began worsening the year before last. Since last year, I've been undergoing treatment the whole time. Treatment would help, then I'd relapse, and lately it's gotten bad again.

When I was getting up at six in the morning, spending an hour traveling to the hospital, and having to climb fifteen flights of stairs to bring my dad food and look after him because the elevators were so crowded that the wait was at least twenty minutes, then getting home at seven or eight at night and going to sleep at one or two in the morning; when I was spending most of my day on treatment; when I was carrying pounds of medication home, I did delay updates and take time off. Not counting the chapters I originally owed, I've fallen behind by about four or five additional chapters in total over these past two-plus years. I'm very sorry to everyone.

After checking repeatedly, I've confirmed that, barring anything unexpected, it's essentially incurable. Even keeping it stable will be difficult, so I'm no longer clinging to the fantasy of getting better and then working hard to release extra
