Happy New Year, fellow readers!
The old year had passed. Whether it brought joy, sorrow, or regret, it would all be sealed away in memory.
I had many regrets last year—so very many. I had made mistakes and done things that failed, but I had also grown and had not stood still. That was the greatest gain.
Now that it had passed, the new year should be our focus.
May everyone be healthy and safe in the new year, meet the people you are meant to meet, read the books you are meant to read, and accomplish the things you are meant to accomplish.
Let me start a small activity. In the book review section, post the title of one non-textbook, non-professional, non-entertainment book you read in 2017.
Then, after that, write down one book you wanted to read in 2018.
When 2019 came, we would look back and post in the book review section the book from 2018 that we loved most or benefited from the most.
If you found that there had been no good book in your heart last year, then read a book you liked in 2018, and do not let three hundred and sixty-five days slip by in vain.
No talk of studying during the New Year—only talk of growth.
Finally, Lao Huo offered his thanks to all fellow readers!
