To put it bluntly, everyone judged different things differently. At least personally, I felt that presenting readers with a complete story mattered more.

Some things weren't suitable to say in the new book. Saying them there would be complaining, but saying them in the old book was much better—it was just chatting.

People like me, with a future-oriented perspective, tended to have a relatively far-reaching gaze, or rather, could persist in delayed gratification. But the downside was pain—pain in the present, pain every moment.
