I had a lot to say, but I'll leave it at that.
I had chapters saved up, but a lot happened these past few days, and they gradually got used up.
There are three reasons for taking time off.
First, Volume One has ended, nearly nine hundred thousand words in all. It's time to rest for a day.
Second, I need to think about the next volume.
Third, I'm moving house, to another city. By the time this chapter is posted, I should already have arrived in New City. After that, I'll need to find a place to rent, and it'll be a while before I'm settled.
As long as nothing unexpected happens, the next volume will resume normal updates in three days.
If I get quarantined and have nowhere to write, I'll explain.
If I accidentally suffer suppression at the hands of the Great Sage of the Sheep Clan, I'll explain that too.
In short, stay alive and well.
