Manjushri Bodhisattva's gaze flickered slightly as she looked at this mortal who should never have appeared in the pilgrimage party. In an even tone, she asked, "Who are you? Why are you associating with this demon monkey?"
"Who I am isn't important." Chu Yang met the Bodhisattva's gaze without yielding. "What matters is whether you lost something in the lower realm, Bodhisattva."
Manjushri Bodhisattva's expression stiffened slightly. Though she concealed it almost instantly, Chu Yang still caught it sharply.
"This humble monk has spent many years meditating on the Dharma at Mount Wutai and has never lost anything," Manjushri Bodhisattva said lightly, pressing her palms together.
"Oh? Never lost anything?" The mockery at the corner of Chu Yang's mouth deepened. He pulled out the Image Recording Stone that flickered with faint blue light and held it high. "Since the Bodhisattva is so forgetful, I'll help you remember."
With a thought, Chu Yang injected the last trace of his spiritual power into the Image Recording Stone.

The Image Recording Stone blazed brightly, projecting an enormous three-dimensional scene into the air.
The scene showed the grim and terrifying Central Palace of Lion Camel Ridge. Bones littered the ground, blood pooled everywhere in a nauseating mess, and a massive bronze cauldron full of boiling water was being prepared to stew Tang Monk's flesh.
At the very center of the image was the vicious, horrifying face of the Green Mane Lion Monster.
The Green Mane Lion Monster's rough, cruel laughter rang out from the recording:
"...Third Brother Great Peng, what a brilliant idea! If that Tang Monk meat is braised, then served with the hearts and livers of the tens of thousands of mortals across these eight hundred li of Lion Camel Ridge as seasoning, our powers will surely soar! Hahaha! Every Imp
