As the two spoke, the sea of clouds ahead suddenly grew denser. Unlike Mount Wutai's boundless golden radiance, Mount Emei's cloud sea was a vast, pure white, like a surging ocean. Above that white expanse, several steep and extraordinary peaks pierced the heavens like sharp swords.
The central main peak was shrouded in brilliant golden sunlight. Refracted through the sea of clouds, it formed a massive, dazzling halo, sacred and solemn. That was Mount Emei's emblem—the Golden Summit Buddhist Light.
