Tiger's bounty was much higher than the original 230 million Beli, which showed just how ruthless the fire Chu Yang had set truly was!
The Marines still had not sent anyone to suppress the Sun Pirates because Mary Geoise's losses had been too severe. All available manpower had been immediately devoted to post-disaster reconstruction.
It was a blessing amid misfortune. It gave Chu Yang time to grow and the strength to protect himself.
Time flew by.
About a month later, the Marine pursuit arrived, and with Jinbe's help, Chu Yang successfully learned Armament Haki.
On the seas of the New World, the Sun Pirates were completely surrounded by five warships.
The enemy had come aggressively, and all the crew members understood that they were in for a hard battle today.
Not a single person, including Arlong, showed even the slightest fear. They had truly prepared themselves to fight the Marines to the death.
No Fish-Man would allow their spiritual leader, Fisher Tiger, to be captured by the Marines.
With battle imminent, Tiger suddenly walked over to Chu Yang and said, "I never expected keeping you here would cause you trouble instead. If anything goes wrong later, just take a small boat and leave."
"Everyone on this ship except you is a Fish-Man. They can escape without a ship."
Chu Yang glanced at Tiger but did not agree.
If things went badly, he would naturally leave. But before he left, he would definitely slaughter as many as he could.
He had no way to take revenge on the Celestial Dragons for now, but that did not stop him from venting his anger on the Marines.
Jinbe, standing nearby, said, "Big Brother Tiger, we will never abandon you and escape on our own."
Tiger looked around. Everyone shared Jinbe's attitude. Seeing that persuasion was useless, he could only focus on directing the crew for battle.
In terms of artillery, the Marines held an advantage over ninety percent of pirate crews—an overwhelming advantage.
Therefore, before boarding combat began, artillery bombardment was always part of the process.
The five warships completely sealed off all five directions around the Sun Pirates, then opened fire simultaneously. The thunderous blasts alone were deafening.
"Watch out for the cannonballs, or our ship is finished!" Jinbe roared as he leaped into the sea. He used Fish-Man Karate underwater, grasping the ocean currents with both hands as if they were solid objects.
Jinbe yanked hard, and the currents began spinning continuously, forming a thick waterspout.
With an over-the-shoulder throw, he launched the waterspout outward. It formed a violently surging curtain of water beside the ship, blocking a large number of cannonballs.
The other side of the ship was not so fortunate. It was completely exposed, without any protection whatsoever.
Some of the more hot-blooded Fish-Men even intended to block the cannonballs with their bodies to protect the masts.
At that critical moment, Chu Yang appeared there. He clapped his hands together and began forming hand seals.
During this time, he had not only been learning Haki but had also been extracting Chakra every day to train in Wood Release.
Chu Yang was no longer the rookie who had just escaped from the Holy Land. He could now use some relatively difficult Ninjutsu.
Chu Yang activated Wood Release. Massive shields interwoven from trees and vines rapidly grew along both sides of the deck, covering more than half the ship.
Wood Release: Tree Barrier
Cannonballs fell upon the wooden shields like raindrops, sparks flying everywhere. To everyone's surprise, the shields were incredibly sturdy. They endured the bombardment head-on, leaving behind only a few fine cracks.
"I underestimated the power of Wood Release!"
Seeing this, Chu Yang let out a sigh of relief.
He had already prepared himself for the massive wooden shields to be shattered by the artillery fire.
"Excellent work, Chu Yang!" Tiger shouted joyfully. "Brothers, Brother Chu Yang has blocked all the enemy cannonballs! Let's find a way to get the ship moving, break through their encirclement, and fight afterward!"
Even though the Marines had exhausted their artillery on the wooden shields, the gap in manpower between both sides remained enormous. Rashly entering boarding combat would still be disadvantageous.
Therefore, the Sun Pirates absolutely could not fight the Marines within the encirclement.
Jinbe leaped from the sea back onto the ship, glanced at the Tree Barrier firmly protecting the vessel overhead, and said, "Big Brother Tiger, we can't raise the sails right now. We can only control the ocean currents to move the ship forward."
Tiger nodded and immediately stood at the stern with Jinbe.
The two stood to the left and right, each using Fish-Man Karate to propel the pirate ship forward at high speed with the recoil of the currents.
Chu Yang did not remain idle either.
Using Wood Release, he created a pair of massive spear-shaped rams at the bow.
When the pirate ship broke through the encirclement, the pair of giant rams directly overturned the warship in front of them.
The warship, broken in half at its waist like the Titanic, gradually sank beneath the sea. The Marines aboard fell into the water like dumplings dropped into a pot.
Cheers erupted around Chu Yang!
After successfully breaking through, Chu Yang dispelled the Wood Release. The crew raised the sails again, while Jinbe took the helm and swiftly widened the distance from the Marine warships with his superb skill.
Tiger walked over to Chu Yang and patted his shoulder. Just as he was about to say something, he noticed that Chu Yang looked dazed.
At that moment, Chu Yang's consciousness returned to the palace along with that mysterious mist.
Chu Yang from the Naruto world had long been waiting there.
And on the previously empty throne, there was another figure!
Another new "himself"!
Hokage Chu Yang happily walked up and stood face-to-face with Pirate Chu Yang, while the "new Chu Yang" seated on the throne also walked over.
The memories of the three were shared once more.
After a while, Hokage Chu Yang and Pirate Chu Yang stared at the newcomer in surprise!
He was Chu Yang from the magical world of Harry Potter!
Magic Chu Yang had just received an invitation from Hogwarts during the holidays. He had not officially enrolled yet and was still merely an orphan from an orphanage.
Magic Chu Yang said happily, "I originally didn't really want to go to Hogwarts. I longed for the place, but I was also afraid I wouldn't be able to handle it. But now, I'm not afraid anymore."
Hokage Chu Yang nodded in agreement. "I completely understand how you feel. When I first transmigrated into an era of war, I was scared half to death too. There were opportunities, but even more danger."
Pirate Chu Yang said irritably, "You two should be satisfied. I was hung up and had a branding iron pressed against my chest. Do you know how much that hurt?"
Hokage Chu Yang and Magic Chu Yang shuddered at the same time. They had already seen the scene through Pirate Chu Yang's memories.
Magic Chu Yang forced out a smile and said ingratiatingly, "Anyway, now that I have your abilities, I can go to Hogwarts and learn magic without worry."
Hokage Chu Yang sighed. "I hope the next one brings something worthwhile. We can't have everyone freeloading off me every time..."
Pirate Chu Yang laughed. "Your cultivation speed has tripled. What more could you want? You really are never satisfied."
Hokage Chu Yang threw an arm around Pirate Chu Yang's shoulders and said, "Brother, you really delivered this time. You got Armament Haki. Combined with Wood Release, it's insanely powerful. I happen to have a great use for it."
Pirate Chu Yang asked in surprise, "Has war started over there?"
Hokage Chu Yang said excitedly, "This is probably the final battle before the village is founded! I'm going to witness the founding of Konoha with my own eyes!"
