Chu Yang helped the Sun Pirates form an alliance with the Revolutionary Army, then proposed taking Wano Country as their stronghold and striking Kaido while his forces were weakened. • Jinbe and Chu Yang reached Baltigo, met Dragon and Hack, and agreed to cooperate; Chu Yang proposed seizing Wano Country as a defensible base.
• Dragon sent scouts to Wano Country, then joined the Sun Pirates and Revolutionary Army in entering the country during a storm after King left for an arms deal.

• Gojo Satoru recruited Chu Yang as a Jujutsu High teacher and sent him with Megumi Fushiguro to retrieve Sukuna’s finger from Sugisawa Third High School.
• Chu Yang found the finger in the Occult Research Club classroom, dismissed Megumi, and swallowed it when Gojo arrived.
• Sukuna confronted Chu Yang in the Soul Palace, but Shinigami Chu Yang used Kido to defeat him and drive him into a near-death state.

In the Soul Society, Fengdu awakened its Yomi ability during a battle with Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni, who appointed Chu Yang captain of the Fifth Division; Chu Yang then challenged anyone who disputed his promotion to fight him.

• Gojo Satoru brought Chu Yang Jujutsu High’s six sealed Sukuna’s fingers, and Chu Yang swallowed them all at once.
• Chu Yang fought Sukuna in Malevolent Shrine, expanded Death Struggle Corridor, and used Fengdu to suppress Sukuna’s Cursed Energy until Sukuna accepted defeat.

Chu Yang defeated Zaraki Kenpachi in a swordsmanship duel, then took over the House of Evolution to study its research and help Sonic learn ninjutsu. When Sonic fought Saitama and Genos outside the base, Chu Yang intervened and caught Saitama’s blow, then trapped Saitama in a genjutsu.
