Aisifenni and Audef sat facing each other.

Watching his reaction, Aisifenni passed judgment inwardly, but another smile appeared on her face. "General Audef, we should be paying more attention to Dierde and his people!"

"They've already held several secret meetings!"

"They were plotting something the very day I arrived. And now? They're probably about to make their move!"

Aisifenni did her best to warn him.

Audef, however, paid no heed to her warnings.

"Rest assured, Madam Envoy."

"I'm fully prepared!"

"If that fellow Dierde dares to act, I'll make him pay dearly!"

Audef spoke with complete confidence.

Seeing his expression, Aisifenni abandoned
