Most of those infected with the Wolf Plague were either highly respected or officers of the lower and middle ranks. They had no trouble taking charge of Burning Dawn again.
Especially after Valen explained that the earlier attacks had all been Dierde's "plot," the soldiers no longer harbored any resentment.
