Qin Ran looked at Pride, a question in his eyes.
The growth of his Demon Power and sin force was a rare opportunity for Qin Ran, but he never forgot how terrifying those two powers were.
Thus, Qin Ran remained cautious and calm from beginning to end, never losing himself in them.
Naturally, he had seen everything that had just happened.
Qin Ran was also surprised that Pride could "borrow" Dawn Force.
But what surprised him even more was the intelligence the sins had displayed!
Pride, in particular, had almost reached the level of an ordinary person.
During their usual interactions, Qin Ran had vaguely noticed it, but nothing had made it as clear as the scene he had just witnessed. Perhaps devouring the pseudo-curse force had greatly increased the sins' intelligence, or perhaps there was another reason.
For now, however, none of that concerned Qin Ran.
He only wanted to know what Pride was trying to do.
Pride met Qin Ran's gaze.
Without needing Qin Ran to ask, Pride knew what he wanted to know.
Yet Pride gave no answer.
It was not out of disdain for Qin Ran.
Nor was it arrogance directed at Qin Ran.
Rather, Pride's own arrogance made speaking impossible.
With the other sins watching in barely concealed glee, Qin Ran and Pride stared at each other. Then, to every sin's surprise, Pride simply vanished.
With Qin Ran's permission.
Although they were independent most of the time, appearing and disappearing still required Qin Ran's permission.
Without it, they could not come and go as they pleased.
"Doing this will cost you your rightful position. You will become Pride's captive."
"Even if you are very much alike."
"You are still different."
Envy spoke with a face full of jealous resentment.
