"You know about the Modin Statue?"
Qin Ran watched Dresden's abruptly changing expression, his smile unchanged.
As one of the city's top Transcendents, it was hardly surprising that Dresden knew about an extraordinary object like the Modin Statue.
On the contrary, it would have been strange if he hadn't.
"Yes!"
Dresden's expression grew more solemn than ever.
He spoke almost one word at a time.
"The Modin Statue may be wondrous, but it's even more terrifying!"

"I know."
"But I have my reasons."
That was Qin Ran's reply.
"All right, I understand."
"I'll do everything I can to help you."
Seeing Qin Ran's resolve, Dresden finally nodded.

Naturally, Dresden did most of the talking while Qin Ran listened. Their conversation only ended when Hoss brought dinner over.
"Try my signature dish: Spicy Hell!"
Hoss lifted the food
