Envy?
Qin Ran froze.
Great Marsh, who was already a "god," actually envied Fire Crow?
Although Fire Crow was his companion, Qin Ran would never overlook the gulf between Fire Crow and Great Marsh because of that.
"Surprised?"
Great Marsh turned to Qin Ran and asked. When Qin Ran nodded, the god of Flame City made no attempt to hide anything, saying outright, "Fire Crow is a demon. Me? I'm a demon too."

Of course, if Great Marsh really did have that much "free time," then...
Qin Ran would have to question his true motives.
After all, judging from their several encounters, Great Marsh was not the sort to idle away his days.
"That's one of the reasons I like talking to you."
"You can arrive at the answer yourself without needing any further explanation."
"Especially after you helped me get rid of my greatest external problems."
Great Marsh spoke pointedly.
Qin Ran instinctively thought of the "God of Forest City" and the leader of "Piercing Thorn."
Aside from those two "gods,"
