Water Ape "looked" at the man indifferently.
That gaze made the man with the eight-headed, seven-tailed tattoo frown.
He hated that look.
Or rather, he hated people who had no fear of death.
"Has anyone ever told you how irritating your eyes are, you blind bastard?"
As he spoke, he swung his arm repeatedly.
The monstrous snake tattoo with eight heads and seven tails writhed with the movements of his arm, as though it were about to break free and devour someone.
What actually emerged from his arm, however, were metal arrows.
Hiss, hiss, hiss!
Three arrows in succession pierced Water Ape's body with unerring accuracy.
Blood spurted out. Already weak, Water Ape grew weaker still.
Yet the man with the eight-headed, seven-tailed tattoo felt no satisfaction at all.
Instead, he grew even angrier.
Because Water Ape remained just as indifferent.
Even after those repeated attacks, neither his gaze nor his expression changed.
"Hmph!"
The tattooed man snorted coldly.
He intended to teach Water Ape a proper lesson.
After all, that was the victor's right, wasn't it?
Before that, of course, he cautiously fired another four arrows.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Amid the whistling arrows, Water Ape's limbs were pinned to the ground.
Only after doing all this did the tattooed man feel safe enough to approach Water Ape. He raised his foot and stamped down on the face that displeased him so much.
Thud!
Water Ape took a heavy blow to the face.
Even his head sank deep into the ground.
Feeling the impact beneath his sole and hearing the faint crack of breaking bones, the tattooed man's lips curled upward.
A bloodthirsty, exhilarated smile spread across his face.
Yes!
This was the feeling!
The feeling of trampling and humiliating an opponent.
Wonderful!
