Lagrun, holding a glass of wine, immediately widened his eyes.

Lagrun stared blankly at Qin Ran for a full three or four seconds before letting out a sorrowful sigh. "Yes, it wasn't before, but it is now."

With a sigh, Lagrun shook his head and took another sip of beer.

When the innkeeper set down his glass again, a stern expression surfaced on his face, and his entire aura changed.

As if an ordinary man had turned into a fierce beast like a lion or Tiger, he fixed Qin Ran with a hard stare and asked, word by word, "So how do you plan to handle this?"

"Step by step."

Qin Ran answered just as calmly.

Though the innkeeper's aura was terrifying, to Qin Ran, it was not even as threatening as a breeze brushing his face. Trying to affect Qin Ran with such an aura was nothing more than a fantasy.

Clearly, the innkeeper realized that as well.

He let out another sigh.

The beast-like aura around him vanished with that sigh. Picking up his glass, the innkeeper prepared to leave.
