Aike De raised his head in surprise and looked at the expressionless Qin Ran.
The next moment, he threw every argument he had prepared out of his mind and nodded with the utmost sincerity.

As Aike De spoke, he watched Qin Ran's expression.
The deputy station director hoped to glean some useful information from Qin Ran's face.
But Qin Ran remained expressionless from beginning to end, giving away absolutely nothing.
This only made the deputy director's wait increasingly agonizing.
