The razor-sharp sword energy sliced through the oncoming Frost Energy. With a sound like tearing cloth, the Frost Energy broke apart, but did not disappear.
Instead, it turned into a cloud of frost that enveloped everything within a five-meter radius.

The inspector flashed out beyond the frost. He lowered his head to look at the frost marks on his left sleeve and chuckled.
"Yikete, you've finally stopped being so rigid."

The inspector raised his sword-bearing right hand. A trace of crimson slowly faded from the gleaming blade, as though the sword itself were devouring it.
The already razor-sharp sword began to hum.
A sharp pain flared in the side of Yikete's abdomen.

Blood sprayed out in great quantities.
Yikete pressed a hand against the wound. A layer of frost immediately covered it, freezing it shut.
Then Frost Energy spread from his bloodstained palm.
Not only did the Frost Energy spread more than twice as fast, its reach also expanded severalfold, instantly engulfing the sword-wielding inspector.
"I just said you'd stopped being so rigid."
"It seems I was wrong."

Within the spreading Frost Energy, the sword-wielding inspector's smile remained unchanged. He charged straight up to Yikete and swung his sword.
That razor-sharp cutting sensation returned. Before the blade even touched Yikete, bloody lines had already appeared across his body.
But the sword never landed on Yikete.
