Morning in Aikend City brought no sunshine. Low-hanging dark clouds made it almost hard to breathe, and not a breath of wind stirred through the city. The air was stifling and oppressive.

As her sweet voice faded in the recording booth, Selena stretched in her chair.

So sleepy.
So tired.
I want some dried fish, meow.
Selena curled up in her chair and closed her eyes.
She needed a little more rest, but her colored contacts made resting uncomfortable. Still, she could not take them out and expose her feline eyes.
After all, nobody here knew her other identity: Catwoman.
All they knew was that she was a moderately well-known morning news presenter who lived alone, liked keeping cats, and so on.
This was the legitimate job Dresden had arranged for her after consulting her.
Though she had not particularly liked it at first.
And now?
She still did not particularly like it.
She would much rather spend a perfect, carefree day lying on a bed covered in banknotes, a dried fish between her teeth, watching the latest romantic drama.
