Walking at the head of the group, the guide explained the origins of the Turquoise Hot Spring Inn.
The tourists listened with keen interest.
Teddy, however, was nervously scanning his surroundings.
Neither the guide's explanations nor the pleasant scenery could capture Teddy's attention. Or rather, those things weren't what concerned him at all.
What concerned him were the things out of the ordinary.
Even though the only Demon Hunter he knew had told him those anomalies wouldn't appear during the day.
Still, he was nervous.
After all, everything around him was strange and unfamiliar. Who knew what might happen?
By now, Teddy regretted signing up for this so-called "Hot Spring Cultural Tour." He should have stayed put in Ai City, using familiar surroundings to adjust to those sudden, unfamiliar things, rather than choosing to face an increasingly unfamiliar world in an unfamiliar place.
The feeling was simply awful.
Just as Teddy was considering leaving the group and heading straight back to Ai City, a torrential downpour suddenly struck!
The guide and tourists hurried into the inn.
The inn's owner, an exceptionally beautiful woman with exquisite makeup and an elegant bearing, welcomed them with a smile.
When the men entering the inn saw the fourth-generation proprietress the guide had mentioned, they all froze for a moment. Even Teddy was no exception.
