A bottle of chilled liquor slammed into Lawless's forehead and shattered. The force sent him stumbling.
"Are you sober now?"
"If not, I don't mind giving you another bottle!"
Rachel had appeared before Lawless without anyone noticing. She tossed aside what remained of the bottle and looked up at him.

Rachel returned behind the bar as she spoke and resumed polishing the glass in front of her.
