"Long time no see, Aili!"
As if he had not noticed anything unusual about Aili Jones and O'Hara, Qin Ran walked straight over and greeted her with a smile.
Then, with respect in his voice, he greeted the two people behind the young woman.
"Teacher Charles, Simons."
To Qin Ran, Charles and Simons could both be considered teachers.
Though Simons did not bear the title of teacher, his instruction in potion-making was an undeniable fact.
"Long time no see, 2567!"
Simons replied directly, his pipe clenched between his teeth.
Charles, however, carefully examined Qin Ran. In the end, his gaze settled on Qin Ran's left hand, concealed beneath a glove. Only after several seconds did the short, stout old man smile and nod. "Very good! Even better than I imagined!"
Clearly, Charles possessed a perception of the [Charles Burning Technique] he had created that ordinary people could hardly comprehend.
Naturally, Qin Ran did not conceal it.
He immediately removed his glove.
Then he began speaking quietly with Charles.
Simons listened in with his pipe between his teeth.
However, his gaze could not help drifting toward Aili Jones and O'Hara.
The young woman and the lady glared at each other without yielding an inch.
"Are you Aili Jones?"
The Sanctuary High Deacon spoke in a condescending tone.
"Heh, who's this old lady?"
Aili Jones struck back without showing the slightest weakness.
"Who I am is not important!"
"What is important is that you should stay away from 2567. That would be the best choice for both you and me."
At the mention of her age, O'Hara's expression stiffened. However, she quickly returned to normal, and a smile appeared on her beautiful face.
"Why do I think you leaving would be for the best instead?"
Aili Jones crossed her arms and retorted.
