Chapter 734: Third Party Enters the Fray
Inside the study at Oaken Manor.
Ann Rattridge Oaken hung up the phone with a faintly mocking expression, then turned her gaze toward Qin Ran as he walked in.
But the questioning look in her eyes was immediately replaced by an unusual gleam.
She watched Qin Ran take three items from the backpack on his back and place them on the desk. Though they were not Inheritance Items, and could barely even be called powerful items, they did contain special power.
As long as they were handled properly, they could either fetch a high price or be exchanged for considerable benefits.
The tiny bit of displeasure Ann Rattridge Oaken had been feeling vanished instantly.
She kicked off one of her high heels and climbed onto the desk like a cat, bringing her beautiful face close to Qin Ran's. In a soft voice, she said, "What do you need? Your partner will serve you wholeheartedly!"
The fragrance that rushed into his nose made Qin Ran take an inconspicuous step back.

He stated his requirements.

"I've become someone many people are scrambling to curry favor with. Just now, a former friend of mine called with a probing little phone call."
