Qin Ran's smile looked incomparably aberrant amid the slaughter around him.
It was something even more direct than an aura.
Especially when Qin Ran walked forward slowly, the Otherkind fighting each other automatically moved to either side of the carpet, though the killing did not stop.
It was as if an invisible hand were manipulating and arranging everything.
When the Otherkind higher-ups arrived, this was the scene they saw.

Those feelings rose from the depths of the Otherkind higher-ups' hearts.
As they watched Qin Ran step along the carpet amid fluttering petals, they could not help swallowing.
Their throats felt dry.
They found it hard to breathe.
Especially when they noticed Qin Ran drawing closer and closer, these Otherkind unconsciously retreated several steps before realizing what they had done.
They looked at one another, then finally turned their gazes toward Kalhart.
The only Otherkind who had not retreated, and the highest commander of the barracks.

Kalhart spoke.
His voice was no longer low and deep, but like exploding thunder.

The sound stirred wave after wave of air, sweeping through the surroundings.
Obvious fury appeared on Kalhart's scarred face.
As for the eyes he fixed on Qin Ran, they had completely cast aside their final trace of concealment, leaving only pure malice and killing intent.
Clearly, he had no intention of letting this go.
How could he possibly let Qin Ran off after Qin Ran had nearly destroyed the work he had devoted years to building?

Kalhart charged at Qin Ran.
With a height far beyond that of an ordinary person and strength and speed beyond imagination, he appeared before Qin Ran within a breath.
His palm, as large as a fan, crackled with electricity as it shot straight for Qin Ran's head.
He
