Chapter 800: Break!
Reign supreme over the world!
As those words rang out, brilliant light flared in both of Eileen da Cree's eyes.
Multicolored radiance intertwined with fathomless darkness, and a faint phantom appeared around this woman of mixed "Emperor" and "Witch" blood.
It was a five-headed serpent bathed in moonlight.
The moonlight was deathly pale and cold.
Each snake head was a different color, but all were hideously ferocious, with daggerlike fangs and blackish-purple forked tongues flicking ceaselessly.
Five pairs of narrow snake eyes-ten in total-gleamed with greed, gluttony, sloth, wrath, and envy, their aura almost indistinguishable from that of original sin.
Yet they seemed somewhat dull, lacking vitality and animation.
Eileen da Cree, however, paid that no mind.
She raised both arms high, as though welcoming the arrival of her own era.
The earth obliged her, trembling without pause.
The seemingly bottomless spiral staircase rapidly collapsed amid the tremors, leaving Qin Ran standing at the edge of a pit a full kilometer across.
Then a massive shadow rose from the bottom of the pit, approaching the surface at tremendous speed.
Trapped by thousands upon thousands of swords of light, Qin Ran watched the shadow with a slight frown.
Neither distance nor darkness obstructed his vision.
Qin Ran could clearly see what that shadow was!
A Beast of Desire!
A Beast of Desire so enormous that it measured a kilometer across!
But this colossal Beast of Desire had long since lost all signs of life. All that remained was a lifeless shell, or rather... a corpse!
Even as a corpse, however, its lingering aura made the phantom Five-Headed Serpent around Eileen da Cree grow restless.
Traces of fear even emerged.
Sensing this change, Eileen da Cree gave a displeased snort.
The pale, cold crescent moon immediately blazed with light.
