A Winding Path Leads to Seclusion

"What are you planning to do? Our original plan was to use the six Infinity Stones from the past to snap our fingers like Thanos did and bring back everyone who was Snapped away."

Future Tony stared intently at Leon as he asked.

"Would that be enough?"

Leon answered with a question.

"What do you mean?"

Future Tony was slightly taken aback.

"If that's all you want, Tony, your wish can be granted right now." Leon pointed at Otsutsuki Tony, who was some distance away, using electromagnetic force to craft some miraculous little gadget by hand.

"The six Infinity Stones are right there. Since this world's six Infinity Stones have already been destroyed, there's no issue of conflicting Stones. But would that be enough?"

Leon asked again, guiding him step by step. "Don't you want to rewrite that lost battle? Don't you want to bring countless crucial moments that should have ended differently to a close?"

"Don't all of you want that?" Before Future Tony could answer, Leon looked at the Avengers walking down from the platform behind him.

"Simply making up for past mistakes is far too weak. You should use this power to return to the past, eradicate the cause of the current situation at its Root, and nip Thanos in the bud."

"Wouldn't that be too cruel? He was just a child back then, after all." Rhodes made an oddly expressioned remark.

"Uh..."

Leon paused at that. "Sorry, I didn't phrase that properly. What I mean is, you should nip Thanos's universal family-planning scheme in the bud, then beat the hell out of him!"

"Fight Thanos? Us?"

Rhodes pointed at himself, Tony, and the others beside him. "You think we don't want to? We already tried, but we failed. We lost badly. Thanos is too strong."

Leon
