Heir to Asgard

Thor spent over 1,500 years fighting for Asgard and was prepared to inherit its throne from Odin. Celebrated as Asgard's strongest champion, he was powerful, brave, proud, and accustomed to solving threats through battle. 85

Loki sabotaged Thor's coronation by allowing Frost Giants into Odin's Vault, then provoked Thor into attacking Jotunheim. Thor's reckless campaign endangered the Warriors Three and forced Odin to intervene. In response, Odin sealed Thor's divine power, cast him to Earth, and sent Mjolnir after him as a worthiness trial rather than a permanent punishment. 85

Exile on Earth

Powerless Thor crashed into Jane Foster's vehicle after arriving through the Bifrost. Jane and Daisy Lewis mistook him for an unstable stranger, tasered him, and brought him to a hospital. 85
